Achilles Strength and Wellness is committed to making fitness accessible to everyone. Regardless of age or disability, we want to create an evidence based fitness program that will help you live your fittest, healthiest, most fulfilling life. Owned and operated by a disabled adult who pursued his education after the onset of illness, this company is in a unique positions to understand and help you adapt to whatever limitations you may have. We want to help you get in the best shape you can to help you deal with whatever challenges life sets in front of you, and we understand that your very real problems need to be treated with respect and understanding. We offer three entry levels, varying in price, and amount of personal attention:

Fitness Class

Fitness class takes place every Mon-Wed-Fri at 3 PM PDT, we offer donation based fitness classes that offer a whole body strength and cardio workout in about 40 minutes. It is designed so that the user can adjust the difficulty to their own level. The meeting code is 796 6408 9703.

Fitness Coaching

Fitness coaching offers personalized attention on a monthly basis. This allows for greater accommodation of individual differences in fitness and ability while maintaining a low cost point of $130 a month, or $300 for three months.

Personal Training

Personal training offers individualized attention in personal zoom training sessions. It is designed specifically for the client’s needs and allows the maximum amount of encouragement and assistance in reaching your fitness goals. $60 per session or $500 for up to 12 session in one 30 day period.

With Sean Rodgers’ help I finally developed the habit of doing daily exercise on my own. I’ve worked with other personal trainers for over 10 years and never found the motivation to do the workouts without their constant supervision. I wanted a routine that I could do by myself at home and Sean was the one who came up with the right combination of exercises and motivation to finally make it happen.

I have limited range of motion in one knee and, while he encouraged me to test those limits occasionally, he was also very careful to make sure I did not exceed my capabilities and cause further damage. The exercise plan was designed, and modified along the way, with MY abilities in mind, and that was probably just the magic I needed to find that missing motivation.

Thanks to Sean I no longer need to maintain a gym membership. I can do my exercises at home on my own schedule, and I now do a daily one mile walk without prompting. He is always available for impromptu consultation and even on Zoom is able to monitor my form and suggest changes when needed. I don’t think I could have a better trainer than Sean Rodgers.
